I had the distinct pleasure of working on the redesign of the website for Aris Fioretos, a renowned Swedish writer. The website serves as a platform to showcase his extensive body of work, including his books, interviews in various media formats, and translation projects. As the original website had become dated and difficult to navigate, I was tasked with giving it a complete overhaul to enhance user experience and modernise its aesthetics.

The primary goals of the redesign were to make the website responsive, improve its overall appearance, and streamline navigation. To achieve these objectives, I redesigned the entire website from scratch, whilst maintaining the existing colour palette and typography to preserve its unique identity. The new layout is not only visually appealing but also offers a more intuitive experience for visitors.

One of the most significant improvements was the reorganisation of the admin area. With a focus on simplicity and ease of use, I created a more efficient environment for Aris Fioretos to manage the content on his website. This user-friendly interface has greatly simplified the process of maintaining the site, leading to a more streamlined and enjoyable workflow for the client.

Throughout the redesign process, one challenge I faced was handling the vast number of pages and posts, as well as catering to the diverse design requirements of the different post and page types.
